Net Zero Acrylics is a £4.34m Research and Innovation Partnership led by Mitsubishi Chemical Group in the UK to increase the sustainability of the acrylics industry. Mitsubishi Chemical Group work with the University of Nottingham and University of St Andrews to decarbonise the acrylics industry.
The partnership is part of a long-term plan to increase the sustainability of the acrylics industry, with the market for PMMA, the most common acrylic polymer, estimated to exceed $8 billion by 2025.
